Athletic Bilbao will visit the Bilbao team in the Spanish league two and a half years after they moved out to allow renovations to start. “Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.” The stadium will not be at full capacity though over 45,000 attendees are permitted inside under the licence granted. After final construction, it will accommodate close to 105,000 fans, a rise from the old capacity. The club said completed upgrades featured a new players’ tunnel along with upgraded changing facilities. Preparatory Events Barça organized an open training session at the Camp Nou earlier this month. The club said they were hoping for permission from Uefa for their upcoming Champions League fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt on 9 December at Camp Nou. Previous fixtures took place at the Olympic Stadium.
